Dame Sarah Storey, Active Travel Commissioner for the Sheffield City Region, will be setting the scene for this year's event and sharing some of the things we can all do to help create a more sustainable planet.
Drawing on her experience in sustainable transport, Sarah will give an overview of the wide-reaching benefits of choosing active travel for short journeys, or as part of a long journey using public transport. From improving air quality to not replacing all of our cars with electric cars, Sarah will share some practical ways in which everyone can contribute to doing a little bit each to make a difference.
