Conservation biologist, environmental educator and graphic novel author-illustrator Alan J. Hesse presents a short video summarising the key steps to creating a comic with an educational punch.
Focusing on climate change, Alan takes viewers through his own storytelling process, covering techniques, tips and best practices in an engaging style featuring his main character, Captain Polo the climate change bear. The video also features extracts from Alan’s own work, and is designed to be used interactively, prompting viewers to pause the video and complete specific tasks that build up to creating your very own climate change comic.
